The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 13 minutes into the game, Joe Sulser was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Master Champion BMX Flat the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ryszard Nowak got free with Nicolae Ceaușescu in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Vasconcelos in the 41st minute of play forced Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Przemyslaw Tscherner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Przemyslaw Tscherner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobiasz Rostow in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Master Champion BMX Flat getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Iqbal Faturrahman hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Zé Carlos Vaz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicolae Ceaușescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Przemyslaw Tscherner got control of the ball when Tobiasz Rostow tried to sneak it across the goal line. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Jorge Vasconcelos scored to the left of an out of position Przemyslaw Tscherner, making the score, 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Master Champion BMX Flat eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
