Bebeto Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Elói Favoretto came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Royal Knights FC's Manu Smets. But to his dismay, Manu Smets quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cristóvão Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manu Smets in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elói Favoretto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elói Favoretto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manu Smets in the 22nd minute of the match. Orlando Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 25 played minutes Detonautas FC Return got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Veiga. Carlos Lima, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some careless play in the Detonautas FC Return defense, Manu Smets kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elói Favoretto. The Detonautas FC Return fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elói Favoretto should have stopped the shot. Elói Favoretto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristóvão Valle's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Cristóvão Valle scored 0-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elói Favoretto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rdth minute of the game Cristóvão Valle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Detonautas FC Return's Elói Favoretto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elói Favoretto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manu Smets, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
