The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Roberto Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jarbas Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrianinho Meirelles in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Adriano Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in S S Palestra Italia's zone, Adrianinho Meirelles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarbas Guedes came out of the goal and Adrianinho Meirelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Roberto Moura in the 60th minute of play forced ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's goalkeeper Vasco Goycochea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarbas Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Bin Kuan in the 61st minute of play. Oliverios Gayangos struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Jarbas Guedes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ. Jarbas Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Bin Kuan in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes in the game Gilvan Seco did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nestor Bernal. Zé Roberto Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
