Corneliu Dridu scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Otávio Linhares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Otávio Linhares came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Dr Lecter SC's Omid Kaulbach. But to his dismay, Omid Kaulbach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Corneliu Dridu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otávio Linhares was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After 38 played minutes Dr Lecter SC got a freekick which was hit by Ma Wei Jun. In the 44th match minute, Dr Lecter SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válbson Batista to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Dr Lecter SC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Corneliu Dridu made the kick off in the second half. Roberto Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Otávio Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneliu Dridu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Club Athletic Warszaw's goal looked a bit too open when Omid Kaulbach came free, but Otávio Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otávio Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Corneliu Dridu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otávio Linhares didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 57th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. Corneliu Dridu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corneliu Dridu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otávio Linhares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Otávio Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Club Athletic Warszaw's Otávio Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 66th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Mauro Romero got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Otávio Linhares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Dr Lecter SC booed when Club Athletic Warszaw was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfredo Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otávio Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneliu Dridu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dieguinho de Medeiros made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Athletic Warszaw's Nilson Torres. 81 minutes into the match, Club Athletic Warszaw's goal looked a bit too open when Corneliu Dridu came free, but Otávio Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Romero got free with Otávio Linhares in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 85 minutes into the match, Corneliu Dridu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otávio Linhares. Club Athletic Warszaw's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Corneliu Dridu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Dr Lecter SC made a substitution. Francisco Brodel replaced Dieguinho de Medeiros. Roberto Leite hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Club Athletic Warszaw's Otávio Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 95th minute of play.
