Jarbas Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Ruben, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vitinho Madureira in the 8th minute. The corner led ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Akis Lazariadis to fire away a dangerous shot which Jarbas Guedes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vitinho Madureira in the 9th minute. After taking down the ball on ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's corner Marco Ruben fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jarbas Guedes quite easily take care of the ball. In the 11th minute, Serafim Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Ruben in the 12th minute of play. Jarbas Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Ruben, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Zé Roberto Moura recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ederono Vilardell. Zé Roberto Moura showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 28th minute, Marco Ruben left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Inácio Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Jarbas Guedes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute Marco Ruben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Marco Ruben cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jarbas Guedes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jarbas Guedes came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Marco Ruben. But to his dismay, Marco Ruben quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The S S Palestra Italia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ were winning 1-3.

After having played for 52 minutes, Marco Ruben managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Ruben was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jarbas Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Ruben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes got control of the ball when Marco Ruben tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jarbas Guedes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Ruben in the 63rd minute. In the 65th match minute, S S Palestra Italia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafim Hermes to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes got control of the ball when Marco Ruben tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Ruben in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarbas Guedes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Ruben's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarbas Guedes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Jarbas Guedes made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Marco Ruben sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to S S Palestra Italia getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Serafim Hermes hit a great ball. The supporters of ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ booed when S S Palestra Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Roberto Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Ruben recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ's Marco Ruben slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jarbas Guedes. That made the score 1-4 after 88 minutes of play. If Baltazar Weidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 played minutes ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ got a freekick which was hit by Akis Lazariadis. The S S Palestra Italia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ǺŁвǺтяØƶ - ƒรCмƶ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
