In the 4th minute of the match, Ciro Elija tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Celso Trevisan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mauro Romero might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caetano da Silveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauro Romero ran back to his position shaking his head. Ciro Elija in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Celso Trevisan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ciro Elijas short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Celso Trevisan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan got control of the ball when João Paulo de Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chelsicha's Jean Carl Mintoff managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Frédson Lira in the 18 minute of the game. Caetano da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omid Kaulbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A throw-in in the 24th minute of the game was made by Jean Carl Mintoff with Luciano Barreto as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ciro Elija might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celso Trevisan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciro Elija ran back to his position shaking his head. Celso Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Elija in the 27th minute of play. Chelsicha's João Paulo de Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Corneliu Dridu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Dr Lecter SC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Tihomir Donevski hit a great ball. Celso Trevisan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Elija's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Corneliu Dridu was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Chelsicha's Rodrigo Félix got a free kick in the 50th minute. Lauro Antunes took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caetano da Silveira. Caetano da Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. João Paulo de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's goal looked a bit too open when 韩铮雄 came free, but Celso Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Elija in the 81st minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Celso Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celso Trevisan came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chelsicha's Ciro Elija. But to his dismay, Ciro Elija quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 韩铮雄 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Celso Trevisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 韩铮雄 in the 89th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Elija came free, but Celso Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
