S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Elija in the 2nd minute of play. Inácio Figueiredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caetano da Silveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, S S Palestra Italia's Inácio Figueiredo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Caetano da Silveira. Caetano da Silveira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Elija in the 9th minute of play forced S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Jarbas Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chelsicha were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after S S Palestra Italia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victor Velloso took the corner. 13 minutes into the game, Inácio Figueiredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S S Palestra Italia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chelsicha the free kick. The supporters of Chelsicha booed when S S Palestra Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciro Elija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caetano da Silveira was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Inácio Figueiredo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Inácio Figueiredo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Jarbas Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Elija, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ciro Elija blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jarbas Guedes having to make a save. The supporters of Chelsicha booed when S S Palestra Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséas Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ciro Elija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute Ciro Elija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of S S Palestra Italia booed when Chelsicha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chelsicha's attentive Jean Carl Mintoff managed to snatch the ball when Gilvan Seco made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. Jarbas Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Elija in the 40th minute of the match. Gilvan Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, S S Palestra Italia's Oséas Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Roberto Moura to make the kick off. If Ciro Elija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Elija in the 57th minute of play forced S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Jarbas Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by S S Palestra Italia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Victor Velloso was slow to take the kick. During this time Chelsicha's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Chelsicha's Ciro Elija to fire away a dangerous shot which Jarbas Guedes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jarbas Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Elija, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 62nd minute Ciro Elija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarbas Guedes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Elija's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After some careless play in the S S Palestra Italia defense, Ciro Elija kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarbas Guedes. The S S Palestra Italia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarbas Guedes should have stopped the shot. Chelsicha made a substitution. Bebeto Maia replaced Vânderson Cafuringa. Chelsicha's 韩铮雄 was substituted for Victor Velloso. In the 73rd minute Inácio Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save S S Palestra Italia from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute of the match Chelsicha got a corner. S S Palestra Italia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. João Paulo de Carvalho ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of S S Palestra Italia's goalie and right to Luciano Barreto. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. S S Palestra Italia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, 韩铮雄 put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Jarbas Guedes. With a little luck, S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes got control of the ball when Ciro Elija tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Tasso in the 89th minute of play forced Chelsicha's goalkeeper Caetano da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarbas Guedes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 韩铮雄's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. After 92 minutes, Tomas Roano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S S Palestra Italia and the Chelsicha players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chelsicha booed when S S Palestra Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Roano didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Paulo de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes got control of the ball when 韩铮雄 tried to sneak it across the goal line. The S S Palestra Italia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chelsicha were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
