In the 5th minute, Arthur Guedes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Abdi Ufki, passed just outside the right post. Arthur Guedes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Abdi Ufki 7 minutes into the match. Abdi Ufki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arthur Guedes went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute Arthur Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdi Ufki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Guedes in the 19th minute of play forced Legion of Boom's goalkeeper Abdi Ufki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovanni Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute Arthur Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdi Ufki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Guedes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdi Ufki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Kepa Arrizabalaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Legion of Boom's Abdi Ufki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Legion of Boom from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the match, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s goal looked a bit too open when Chiquinho Vargas came free, but Kepa Arrizabalaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rony Teixeira's late challenge caught a ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rony Teixeira helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Legion of Boom's Rony Teixeira got a free kick in the 35th minute. Legion of Boom's Abdi Ufki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Guedes in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Legion of Boom's goalkeeper Abdi Ufki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42nd minute of the match ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ got a corner. Legion of Boom's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ging Root ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Legion of Boom booed when ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaká Favoretto didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisito Suárez was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Arthur Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdi Ufki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Guedes took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdi Ufki. Abdi Ufki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Legion of Boom's Abdi Ufki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Guedes in the 61st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Arthur Guedes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdi Ufki was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Abdi Ufki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Guedes in the 64th minute of the match. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Legion of Boom's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ging Root took the corner. The corner led to ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s 余政翀 getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 78th minute, Giorgian De Arrascaeta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute Arthur Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdi Ufki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Arthur Guedes notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Legion of Boom's Abdi Ufki. Abdi Ufki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abdi Ufki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Guedes in the 86th minute of the match. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Legion of Boom's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ging Root was slow to take the kick. During this time ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s 余政翀 to fire away a dangerous shot which Abdi Ufki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Abdi Ufki came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Arthur Guedes. But to his dismay, Arthur Guedes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Arthur Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Abdi Ufki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Giovanni Alagoano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Legion of Boom's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ the free kick. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
