Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dida Mesquita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gilmar Rosa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Igor Ramalho came out and tried to block the shot, but Gilmar Rosa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Dida Mesquita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Igor Ramalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Igor Ramalho came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Paysandu's Dida Mesquita. But to his dismay, Dida Mesquita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Cléber Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Pitta, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Dida Mesquita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Igor Ramalho, 5-0. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Dida Mesquita took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Igor Ramalho to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Paysandu's Ramón Camargo got a free kick in the 28th minute. If Régis Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paysandu's attentive Octavio Sidro managed to snatch the ball when Fiori Rosa made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, Dida Mesquita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Igor Ramalho, 7-0. Igor Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dida Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilmar Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes in the game, Gilmar Rosa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Igor Ramalho having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Paysandu got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Marquez. Igor Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Rosa in the 48th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Betão Pitta made a kick off. After some careless play in the Santos da Bahia Fc defense, Gilmar Rosa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Ramalho. The Santos da Bahia Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Ramalho should have stopped the shot. The Paysandu fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Paysandu's Dida Mesquita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 60th match minute, Paysandu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Marquez to maneuver through the defense. Igor Ramalho came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Paysandu's Gilmar Rosa. But to his dismay, Gilmar Rosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. In the 74th minute Dida Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Régis Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléber Pinho having to interfere. Igor Ramalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dida Mesquita went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Paysandu's Gilmar Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilmar Rosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Igor Ramalho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilmar Rosa ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fiori Rosa during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes Santos da Bahia Fc got a freekick which was hit by Fiori Rosa. In the 93rd minute of the match Gilmar Rosa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Igor Ramalho skillfully saved the ball. Cléber Pinho was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Betão Pitta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Betão Pitta really showed his touch with that goal: 11-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Paysandu fully deserved thier win.
