When Flying Dutch's Niceto Xacintu in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maverick Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. 6 minutes into the match, Maverick Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Raymundo came free, but Edinho Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niceto Xacintu's late challenge caught a Maverick Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niceto Xacintu helped the player get up and apologised. Niceto Xacintu kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Neves in the 11th minute of play forced Flying Dutch's goalkeeper Josue Barro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Reynaldo Neves reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Josue Barro. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 18th minute Wit Chuchro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josue Barro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Maverick Futebol Clube's Josue Barro threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Reynaldo Neves, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Josue Barro made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Wit Chuchro sent off a good shot on target. Edinho Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Raymundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabian Adriaanse during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Fabian Adriaanse got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Eurico Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vinícius Haaland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josue Barro having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Flying Dutch's goal looked a bit too open when Wit Chuchro came free, but Josue Barro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wit Chuchro in the 55th minute of play forced Flying Dutch's goalkeeper Josue Barro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josue Barro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Raymundo in the 66th minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Edinho Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josue Barro came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Maverick Futebol Clube's Deivid Goiano. But to his dismay, Deivid Goiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of Maverick Futebol Clube booed when Flying Dutch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shen Fan Shu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo Neves might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josue Barro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reynaldo Neves ran back to his position shaking his head. Basilio Lain was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 79 minutes into the match. Basilio Lain kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Josue Barro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Goiano in the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to Flying Dutch getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Fabian Ivașcu hit a great ball. Vinícius Haaland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Josue Barro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinícius Haaland in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josue Barro saved Flying Dutch from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Maverick Futebol Clube's Vinícius Haaland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josue Barro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Vinícius Haaland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maverick Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Maverick Futebol Clube were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Flying Dutch for a fine match.
