When Anísio Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santos da Bahia Fc's protests and gave Anísio Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Anísio Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Brasil took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Aparecido. Jacinto Aparecido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 13th minute, André Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Aparecido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Brasil in the 18th minute. Jacinto Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vânderson Castro in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, AKI CORINTHIANS's Ciro Brasil dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. With a little luck, Santos da Bahia Fc's Jacinto Aparecido got control of the ball when Vânderson Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Santos da Bahia Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovani Linares to maneuver through the defense. After 29 minutes, Lisa Simpson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santos da Bahia Fc and the AKI CORINTHIANS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AKI CORINTHIANS booed when Santos da Bahia Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisa Simpson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Aparecido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Ibar, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Jacinto Aparecido was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ciro Brasil showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 33 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vânderson Castro in the 36th minute of play forced Santos da Bahia Fc's goalkeeper Jacinto Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Jacinto Aparecido managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when AKI CORINTHIANS's Ciro Brasil fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 40th minute, André Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 44 minutes, Ciro Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AKI CORINTHIANS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Brasil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Aparecido was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Juan Custódio. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lisa Simpson made a kick off. Paredes Fortes made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Lisa Simpson sent off a good shot on target. Lisa Simpson struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Paredes Fortes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos da Bahia Fc. A hard shot 63 in the game by Lisa Simpson from a close distance when the talented Paredes Fortes managed to make a qualified save. AKI CORINTHIANS's players were relieved. In the 65th minute Ciro Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Albino Ibar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albino Ibar took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Aparecido. Jacinto Aparecido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Paredes Fortes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisa Simpson in the 78th minute of play. Jacinto Aparecido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. During the 81st minute of the match Anísio Cunha completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anísio Cunha a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, AKI CORINTHIANS's André Carvalho got a free kick in the 85th minute. 91 minutes into the game, AKI CORINTHIANS's Vânderson Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Aparecido made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. AKI CORINTHIANS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
