The supporters of Š¢σяpiσиŠ booed when Catanduvense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witold Marajda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sten Norberg kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Catanduvense FC's Rogelio Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meriç Nurkan in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Peiter Mora ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rogelio Thomas. Rogelio Thomas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Peiter Mora was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Leopoldo Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Cordeiro having to interfere. In the 24th minute Erasmo Yeste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Thomas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The nice shot from Amedeo Faccio in the 26thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Rogelio Thomas had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Rogelio Thomas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Yeste's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute, Erasmo Yeste got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st play minute Amedeo Faccio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rogelio Thomas. 2-0. Rogelio Thomas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amedeo Faccio in the 34th minute. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Catanduvense FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amedeo Faccio was slow to take the kick. During this time Š¢σяpiσиŠ's players had a chance to rest. Erasmo Yeste was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meriç Nurkan in the 37th minute of play forced Catanduvense FC's goalkeeper Rogelio Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Erasmo Yeste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Thomas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Yeste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 39 minutes, Erasmo Yeste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Š¢σяpiσиŠ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Yeste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Catanduvense FC's Rogelio Thomas got control of the ball when Amedeo Faccio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Catanduvense FC defense, Amedeo Faccio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogelio Thomas. The Catanduvense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogelio Thomas should have stopped the shot. Rogelio Thomas made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Amedeo Faccio sent off a good shot on target.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erasmo Yeste to strike the kick off in the second half. Catanduvense FC's Rogelio Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Faccio in the 52nd minute of play. Rogelio Thomas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Yeste, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Amedeo Faccio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogelio Thomas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Amedeo Faccio notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Catanduvense FC's Rogelio Thomas. Rogelio Thomas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rogelio Thomas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erasmo Yeste went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Rogelio Thomas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Yeste in the 65th minute of the match. Š¢σяpiσиŠ were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Catanduvense FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amedeo Faccio took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Bobby Moore managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Rogelio Thomas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bobby Moore, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The Catanduvense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogelio Thomas should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute Gilberto Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Thomas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, one of Catanduvense FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Catanduvense FC. After 98 minutes of play, Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Meriç Nurkan made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogelio Thomas was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Š¢σяpiσиŠ fully deserved thier win.
