Š¢σяpiσиŠ's Amedeo Faccio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ian Nogueira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Cordeiro having to interfere. Emílio Cordeiro made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Faustino Ferrando sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute FC BARCELONA were awarded a corner. Yetkiner Refah went to the cornerflag to take it. Gaston Bitze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Emílio Cordeiro made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Yeste in the 16th minute of play forced FC BARCELONA's goalkeeper Ian Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the FC BARCELONA defense, Erasmo Yeste kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Nogueira. The FC BARCELONA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Nogueira should have stopped the shot. Gaston Bitze could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Emílio Cordeiro made a huge save. FC BARCELONA's Ian Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Yeste in the 30th minute of play. When FC BARCELONA's Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Š¢σяpiσиŠ's goalie prevented a goal. Emílio Cordeiro came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by FC BARCELONA's Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emílio Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Ferrando in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute Gaston Bitze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC BARCELONA's zone, Erasmo Yeste stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian Nogueira came out of the goal and Erasmo Yeste tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Yusuf Ziya Ruhittin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ian Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, FC BARCELONA's goalkeeper Ian Nogueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilberto Cardozo. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC BARCELONA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amedeo Faccio was slow to take the kick. During this time Š¢σяpiσиŠ's players had a chance to rest. Ian Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Cardozo in the 94th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC BARCELONA defense, Gilberto Cardozo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Nogueira. The FC BARCELONA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Nogueira should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC BARCELONA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Š¢σяpiσиŠ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
