The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, Juan Manuel Olivera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nestor Paraibano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th minute, Juan Manuel Olivera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 15 minutes into the match, TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Abelardo Breckenfeld had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Senna. If Juan Manuel Olivera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Nestor Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Manuel Olivera in the 16th minute of play. Juan Manuel Olivera took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Paraibano. Nestor Paraibano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Manuel Olivera in the 23rd minute of play forced Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Nestor Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Juan Manuel Olivera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Paraibano. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Manuel Olivera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Nestor Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Manuel Olivera, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Manuel Olivera in the 30th minute of play forced Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Nestor Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's zone, Tito Pizzuti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Paraibano came out of the goal and Tito Pizzuti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 36 minutes of play, TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Juan Manuel Olivera made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestor Paraibano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Nestor Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Manuel Olivera in the 39th minute of play. Chicão Novaes charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chicão Novaes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute, Claudinho Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Manuel Olivera to strike the kick off in the second half. TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Jim Pedersson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kléber Magalhães in the 55 minute of the game. In the 56th minute, Juan Manuel Olivera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestor Paraibano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Juan Manuel Olivera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestor Paraibano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. The corner ended in Jim Pedersson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Nestor Paraibano did a great save. Richard Senna's late challenge caught a TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richard Senna helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Magnifico FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Richard Senna hit a great ball. Percy Carioca hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Richard Linhares came free, but Abelardo Breckenfeld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Manuel Olivera in the 75th minute of play. Percy Carioca's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nestor Paraibano firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nestor Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy Carioca in the 77th minute of play. Nestor Paraibano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Percy Carioca went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peker Ersed in the 95th minute of play forced Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Nestor Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Paraibano made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Percy Carioca sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Magnifico FC - FSCMZ.
