The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Robrecht Moreau managed to get in a good position for a shot. U.VAGABUNDOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Robrecht Moreau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeu Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hélio Leão scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filip Blicharz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristiano Godoi struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Romeu Borges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U.VAGABUNDOS. Barra EC's Hélio Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hélio Leão's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Filip Blicharz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Luiz Eduardo Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Blicharz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dênis Fantini. After having played for 33 minutes, Cristiano Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U.VAGABUNDOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute Luiz Eduardo Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barra EC's Romeu Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Godoi in the 38th minute of play. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for U.VAGABUNDOS! Filip Blicharz had in the 45thth minute some difficulties stopping Dênis Fantini's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Cristiano Godoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeu Borges read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Válter Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Blicharz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cristiano Godoi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 57 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Romeu Borges was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Robrecht Moreau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Válter Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeu Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélio Leão in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filip Blicharz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, U.VAGABUNDOS's Romeu Borges threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristiano Godoi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 73 minutes into the game, U.VAGABUNDOS's Cristiano Godoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeu Borges made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 77 minutes into the match, U.VAGABUNDOS's goal looked a bit too open when Válter Lopes came free, but Filip Blicharz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the U.VAGABUNDOS defense, Hélio Leão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filip Blicharz. The U.VAGABUNDOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filip Blicharz should have stopped the shot. Robrecht Moreau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Borges having to interfere. Cristiano Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Borges having to interfere. Claudinho Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Borges having to interfere. Filip Blicharz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélio Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robrecht Moreau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Borges having to interfere. Romeu Borges came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by U.VAGABUNDOS's Robrecht Moreau. But to his dismay, Robrecht Moreau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Barra EC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing U.VAGABUNDOS to leave the ground with a draw.
