Condors F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Edmílson Urbano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Pedro Bertassi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Botafogo AP's José Pedro Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Souto in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Condors F.C. defense, Fritz Ernst Joinvilense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jakob Jansson. The Condors F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jakob Jansson should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Botafogo AP's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Urbano came free, but José Pedro Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Pedro Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Urbano in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Cipriano Souto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Pedro Bertassi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Botafogo AP's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Beltza came free, but José Pedro Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulisses Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Botafogo AP booed when Condors F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Ademir de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Botafogo AP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademir de Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Condors F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fritz Ernst Joinvilense 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Souto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. José Pedro Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Urbano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Cipriano Souto notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Botafogo AP's José Pedro Bertassi. José Pedro Bertassi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Botafogo AP's zone, Cipriano Souto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Pedro Bertassi came out of the goal and Cipriano Souto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fritz Ernst Joinvilense kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the match, Ulisses Marquez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but José Pedro Bertassi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 80th minute Americo Beltza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Pedro Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Condors F.C. booed when Botafogo AP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiliam Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute Americo Beltza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Pedro Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laerte de Mendonça's late challenge caught a Condors F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laerte de Mendonça helped the player get up and apologised. Laerte de Mendonça hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the game, Wiliam Couto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Botafogo AP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Condors F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Condors F.C. booed when Botafogo AP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiliam Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Americo Beltza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
