The referee ignored Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s protests and gave Alfredinho Faria a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredinho Faria to maneuver through the defense. Romeu Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caco Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Caco Guimarães notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Barra EC's Romeu Borges. Romeu Borges was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Caco Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Borges having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Caco Guimarães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeu Borges was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Tomé Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luiz Souto in the 15th minute of the match. Pedro Luiz Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Oliveira having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Barra EC's goalkeeper Romeu Borges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magno Nunes. Barra EC's Romeu Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Guimarães in the 31st minute of play. Barra EC's Romeu Borges proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Barra EC from getting a goal against them. Romeu Borges made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Téo Campidelis sent off a good shot on target. Tomé Oliveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Luiz Souto's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Caco Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Borges having to interfere. A collision led to Barra EC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Dito Vander hit a great ball. After 42 played minutes Barra EC got a freekick which was hit by Remy Sanderson. If Magno Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51stth minute of the game Magno Nunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barra EC's Romeu Borges was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 52nd minute Caco Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Ismael Paraense took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Tomé Oliveira to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Barra EC's zone, Magno Nunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeu Borges came out of the goal and Magno Nunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Barra EC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Pedro Luiz Souto hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Remy Sanderson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romeu Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goalkeeper Tomé Oliveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remy Sanderson. Romeu Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Guimarães in the 69th minute of play. Pedro Luiz Souto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Tomé Oliveira made a huge save. Romeu Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Téo Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Caco Guimarães came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caco Guimarães couldn't finish the play. Barra EC's Roger Cearense was substituted for Manuel Loyola. 83 minutes into the match, Téo Campidelis notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Barra EC's Romeu Borges. Romeu Borges was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 85 minutes into the match, Barra EC's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Campidelis came free, but Romeu Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barra EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sandro Alvarenga was slow to take the kick. During this time Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Sandro Alvarenga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Barra EC's Romeu Borges did a great save. Pedro Luiz Souto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Tomé Oliveira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
