Toninho Cosme started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Albin Anundsson notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of BEST FABIO F.C.'s Olivier Dubs. Olivier Dubs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Mané Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toninho Cosme in the 9th minute of play. Erberk Tunçkol's late challenge caught a BEST FABIO F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erberk Tunçkol helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to E. C. Flamengo Paraibano getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Erberk Tunçkol hit a great ball. Dinei Massa charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dinei Massa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Dinei Massa got a free kick in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Erberk Tunçkol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olivier Dubs was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. With a little luck, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Olivier Dubs got control of the ball when Albin Anundsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albin Anundsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Olivier Dubs made a huge save. In the 23rd match minute, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardinho Vaz to maneuver through the defense. Mané Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Toninho Cosme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mané Barreto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gino de Brito in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mané Barreto saved E. C. Flamengo Paraibano from getting behind. Mané Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toninho Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olivier Dubs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Anundsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Cosme came free, but Mané Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erberk Tunçkol to make the kick off. Olivier Dubs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erberk Tunçkol in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to E. C. Flamengo Paraibano getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Zdzislaw Kajdasz hit a great ball. When Toninho Cosme came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the BEST FABIO F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toninho Cosme couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd match minute, BEST FABIO F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinei Massa to maneuver through the defense. Albin Anundsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olivier Dubs. BEST FABIO F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino de Brito in the 67th minute of play forced E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goalkeeper Mané Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Toninho Cosme in the 67th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Gino de Brito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Mané Barreto made a huge save. Vicente Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano made a substitution. Thomás Loureiro replaced Erberk Tunçkol. After 79 played minutes BEST FABIO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Dantas. 81 minutes into the game, Bernardinho Vaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BEST FABIO F.C. the free kick. Bernardinho Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of E. C. Flamengo Paraibano:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BEST FABIO F.C.:s goal. 84 minutes into the match, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Xande came free, but Mané Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Iraunkor made a great header on BEST FABIO F.C.'s corner, it was just that E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Mané Barreto managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 91st minute Toninho Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Albin Anundsson fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's protests and gave Albin Anundsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to E. C. Flamengo Paraibano getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Albin Anundsson hit a great ball. Gino de Brito might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mané Barreto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gino de Brito ran back to his position shaking his head. BEST FABIO F.C. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
