Lara Peñaranda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 5 played minutes America Futebol Clube SP got a freekick which was hit by Tadeu Xavier. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Rico in the 9th minute of play forced Beneficiente's goalkeeper Lara Peñaranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lara Peñaranda came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by America Futebol Clube SP's Jeronimo Rico. But to his dismay, Jeronimo Rico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Dida Senna's late challenge caught a America Futebol Clube SP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dida Senna helped the player get up and apologised. A sloppy throw-in by 巩沙谦 in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by America Futebol Clube SP's Luiz Eduardo Paraibano. Lara Peñaranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Rico in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Jeronimo Rico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The America Futebol Clube SP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Beneficiente's Lara Peñaranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Rico in the 41st minute of play. The Beneficiente players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. America Futebol Clube SP were winning 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeronimo Rico was the one to do the kick off. 巩沙谦 made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by America Futebol Clube SP's Luiz Eduardo Paraibano. The crowd rose to their feet as Jeronimo Rico kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lara Peñaranda. That made the score 0-6 in the 52 minute of play. The supporters of Beneficiente booed when America Futebol Clube SP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Rico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeronimo Rico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. America Futebol Clube SP's Jeronimo Rico got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. America Futebol Clube SP's Iago Bala was substituted for Jeronimo Rico. Iago Bala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lara Peñaranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iago Bala in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Beneficiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Senna to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Capixaba got free with Lara Peñaranda in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iago Bala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lara Peñaranda having to make a save. Lara Peñaranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iago Bala, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Iago Bala who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Lara Peñaranda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, America Futebol Clube SP's Iago Bala sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lara Peñaranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Iago Bala kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lara Peñaranda. That made the score 0-7 in the 77 minute of play. In the 82nd minute, America Futebol Clube SP's Iago Bala ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lara Peñaranda. Lara Peñaranda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Lara Peñaranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serginho Chulapa in the 85th minute of play. Iago Bala in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lara Peñaranda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
