Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Gato Morto's Hugo Terra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Beneficiente's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Terra came free, but Lara Peñaranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laércio Aguiar during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Beneficiente's Laércio Aguiar got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute, Luís Guilherme Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Beneficiente's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Travassos came free, but Lara Peñaranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Sandro Travassos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lara Peñaranda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lara Peñaranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Terra's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Travassos in the 20th minute of play forced Beneficiente's goalkeeper Lara Peñaranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandro Travassos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lara Peñaranda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Gato Morto's Tage Stenseth got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute Sandro Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lara Peñaranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandro Travassos in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lara Peñaranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flávio Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Cunha in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandro Travassos in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lara Peñaranda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 35 minutes of play, Gato Morto's Sandro Travassos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lara Peñaranda was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the match, Sandro Travassos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lara Peñaranda. Beneficiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandro Travassos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 41 minutes into the match, Sandro Travassos notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Beneficiente's Lara Peñaranda. Lara Peñaranda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Terra in the 45th minute of play forced Beneficiente's goalkeeper Lara Peñaranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Gato Morto were awarded a corner. Tage Stenseth went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Gato Morto's Jefferson Guedes to fire away a dangerous shot which Lara Peñaranda despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jefferson Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Lara Peñaranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Gato Morto were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Guilherme Cunha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sandro Travassos in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lara Peñaranda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sandro Travassos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Lara Peñaranda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 55 minutes into the match, Hugo Terra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lara Peñaranda. Beneficiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Terra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The audience was convinced that Hugo Terra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lara Peñaranda was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Hugo Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Luís Guilherme Cunha in the 69th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 78th minute, Sandro Travassos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lara Peñaranda. The goal made the score 0-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Terra in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lara Peñaranda saved Beneficiente from getting behind. Hugo Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gato Morto's Flávio Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Appel in the 87th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Guilherme Cunha in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flávio Tróia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 96 played minutes Beneficiente got a freekick which was hit by Laércio Aguiar. The Beneficiente fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gato Morto were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
