The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 11 minutes into the match, Freddy Basajaun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nildo da Silveira, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddy Basajaun got free with Nildo da Silveira in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Freddy Basajaun's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Nildo da Silveira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nildo da Silveira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Freddy Basajaun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 18 minute of play. Nildo da Silveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Basajaun's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Morrinhos Futebol Clube's Nildo da Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Morrinhos Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. If Freddy Basajaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Morrinhos Futebol Clube's Nildo da Silveira got control of the ball when Freddy Basajaun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Dawid Cupial quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Humberto Valle, made in the 28th minute of the game. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Osmar Velasco got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Obregón Hondona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nildo da Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Freddy Basajaun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nildo da Silveira. Freddy Basajaun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Nildo da Silveira when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Freddy Basajaun to strike the kick off in the second half. When Freddy Basajaun came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Joinville S.German-FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Basajaun couldn't finish the play. Nildo da Silveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Basajaun's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Morrinhos Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Basajaun came free, but Nildo da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Joinville S.German-FSCMZ booed when Morrinhos Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. The Joinville S.German-FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 94th minute, one of Morrinhos Futebol Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Morrinhos Futebol Clube. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
