Ekzema F.V.'s Luisinho Toscano was substituted for Vitório Moreno. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bebeto de Carvalho to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Itapeipu AD got a freekick which was hit by Greg Marshall. 55 minutes into the match, Itapeipu AD's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Estevez came free, but Silvinho Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florin Chiriloaie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvinho Monteiro having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Itapeipu AD's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Estevez came free, but Silvinho Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Itapeipu AD were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Ekzema F.V.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Belmiro Quadros took the corner. The corner led Itapeipu AD's Belmiro Quadros to fire away a dangerous shot which Ximenez Cayuso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Alexandre Carrasqueira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Greg Marshall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Itapeipu AD's goalkeeper Silvinho Monteiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timoteo Estevez. Timoteo Estevez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Silvinho Monteiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Timoteo Estevez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 87th minute. The supporters of Ekzema F.V. booed when Itapeipu AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Greg Marshall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timoteo Estevez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Silvinho Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Itapeipu AD's Belmiro Quadros got a free kick in the 95th minute.
