Efrain Salamon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beto Hermes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Antônio Borges skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 11 minutes into the game, PIRATAS TFP's Jacinto de Lara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Efrain Salamon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. PIRATAS TFP's attentive Gerson de Barros managed to snatch the ball when Quexal Rajoi made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. Efrain Salamon came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by PIRATAS TFP's Clemente Pires. But to his dismay, Clemente Pires quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Efrain Salamon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celtic FC's Efrain Salamon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto de Lara in the 22nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Celtic FC defense, Jacinto de Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Efrain Salamon. The Celtic FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efrain Salamon should have stopped the shot. Jacinto de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 35 played minutes Celtic FC got a freekick which was hit by Davi Godoi. Antônio Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Bueno in the 38th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, PIRATAS TFP's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Bueno came free, but Antônio Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Davi Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Jacinto de Lara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PIRATAS TFP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 45th minute, Jacinto de Lara made a precise shot to the right of Efrain Salamon. Celtic FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After 47 played minutes Celtic FC got a freekick which was hit by Quexal Rajoi. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raphael Almeida stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raphael Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Jacinto de Lara succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 60th playminute. Antônio Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Jacinto de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Efrain Salamon made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Jacinto de Lara sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute of the game Quexal Rajoi made a throw-in which Giovanni Bueno played forward. Quexal Rajoi kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Jacinto de Lara took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Efrain Salamon. Efrain Salamon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. After a defensive mix-up in PIRATAS TFP's zone, Vicente Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antônio Borges came out of the goal and Vicente Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Efrain Salamon made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Gerson de Barros sent off a good shot on target. In the 95thth minute of the game Jacinto de Lara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Celtic FC's Efrain Salamon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match was over PIRATAS TFP could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Celtic FC throughout the match.
