If Joris Scheer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Humberto Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Bastos in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Cerezo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vitinho do Valle struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Armando Cerezo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A A Arizona. Armando Cerezo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Bastos went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Hu Zhen Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A A Arizona's Hu Zhen Hong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save A A Arizona from getting a goal against them. Froilan Bartolome kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Armando Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Pereira in the 35th minute of the match. With a little luck, A A Arizona's Hu Zhen Hong got control of the ball when Jaime Patrício tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the S.C.CHUÍ defense, Natã Pereira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Cerezo. The S.C.CHUÍ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Cerezo should have stopped the shot. 42 minutes into the game, Semi Temizalp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A A Arizona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C.CHUÍ the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, A A Arizona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Semi Temizalp to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitinho do Valle in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Cerezo saved S.C.CHUÍ from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, A A Arizona's goal looked a bit too open when Joris Scheer came free, but Hu Zhen Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

A A Arizona's Cláudio de Mendonça was substituted for Humberto Bastos. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lyuboslav Penev was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Natã Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, A A Arizona's Armando Cerezo threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cláudio de Mendonça, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 80 minutes of play, S.C.CHUÍ's Bernardinho Abreu made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hu Zhen Hong was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hu Zhen Hong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Froilan Bartolome went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardinho Abreu in the 90th minute of play forced A A Arizona's goalkeeper Hu Zhen Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of A A Arizona booed when S.C.CHUÍ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to A A Arizona getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Elói Mesquita hit a great ball. When Derwin Valensuela fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C.CHUÍ's protests and gave Derwin Valensuela a yellow card for diving instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. A A Arizona walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
