The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Ferenc Puskás who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ARON FC's Luís Fabiano Vaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luís Fabiano Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferenc Puskás in the 8th minute of play. Luís Fabiano Vaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferenc Puskás's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Adalberto de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, ARON FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferenc Puskás came free, but Luís Fabiano Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of ARON FC booed when Guarani Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edu Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th match minute, Guarani Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Beckenbauer to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferenc Puskás in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Fabiano Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 26 played minutes ARON FC got a freekick which was hit by Arne Boehm. Luís Fabiano Vaz came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Guarani Futebol Clube's Ferenc Puskás. But to his dismay, Ferenc Puskás quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ferenc Puskás blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Fabiano Vaz having to make a save. Ferenc Puskás scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Fabiano Vaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Guarani Futebol Clube's Edu Barros got a free kick in the 40th minute. Sebastião Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adalberto de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Proença in the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edu Proença stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adalberto de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Proença in the 50th minute of play. With a little luck, ARON FC's Luís Fabiano Vaz got control of the ball when Ferenc Puskás tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Ferenc Puskás reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luís Fabiano Vaz. The goal made the score 0-3. Ferenc Puskás who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Luís Fabiano Vaz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. ARON FC made a substitution. Manuel Bueno replaced Sebastião Xavier. After a rather tough play, Guarani Futebol Clube's 程笑斐 got a free kick in the 64th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Guarani Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Aila Van came free, but Adalberto de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adalberto de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bobby Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Adalberto de Moraes came out of the goal and Manuel Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferenc Puskás got free with Luís Fabiano Vaz in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 minutes of play, ARON FC's Bobby Pires made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adalberto de Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there!
