The audience thought a goal was coming when Orhun Taran got free with Luís Fabiano Vaz in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ferenc Puskás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Luís Fabiano Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adalberto de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. ARON FC's Luís Fabiano Vaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save ARON FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, ARON FC's Jorginho Mattos got a free kick in the 94th minute. Edu Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Guarani Futebol Clube fully deserved thier win.
