Jeferson Fontes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 21 minutes into the game, Agostinho Carneiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Jeferson Fontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeferson Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Nóbrega in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Everest Futebol Clube booed when SAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilmar de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willian Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Lara in the 82nd minute of the match. Igor Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Negri having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Igor Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hélder Nóbrega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Jeferson Fontes made a huge save. After having played for 93 minutes, Paulão Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Everest Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulão Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Oséias Falcão made a precise shot to the right of Willian Negri. SAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-7. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SAS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
