SAS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Ernani Rosa scored to the left of an out of position Willian Negri, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, SAS's Lauro Zanette got a free kick in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Eger got free with Willian Negri in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Hélder Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Hélder Nóbrega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oswaldo Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, SAS's goal looked a bit too open when Ernani Rosa came free, but Willian Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barnaba Marud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
