Zé Castro hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When Zé Castro got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Paraná Clube PG. Peter Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oswaldo Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Márcio de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernani Rosa in the 50th minute of the match. Samurai Champions FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
