Igor Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro-Gabriel Viana in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Botelho in the 21st minute of play forced Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Lautaro-Gabriel Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Mineiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Di Yuan Liang in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Di Yuan Liang in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Mineiro saved Everest Futebol Clube from getting behind. Igor Mineiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Zieba, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Igor Mineiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Di Yuan Liang in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Lautaro-Gabriel Viana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oséias Falcão was the one to do the kick off. Luiz Fabiano de Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tiaguinho Barreto's late challenge caught a Pombal 2003 F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiaguinho Barreto helped the player get up and apologised. Simão Furlan took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Fabiano de Lima. Luiz Fabiano de Lima dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Lautaro-Gabriel Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 89th minute of the match Michel Toscano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Igor Mineiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Oséias Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Everest Futebol Clube were victorious despite being under pressure from Pombal 2003 F.C. for much of the match.
