The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nilson Peres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Santos in the 14th minute. After 20 minutes of play, ITAFUT 4EVER's José Sand made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Márcio de Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute of the game Marquinhos Best made a throw-in which Flavius Postelnicescu played forward. A sloppy throw-in by Faustão Ramalho in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ITAFUT 4EVER's Marquinhos Best. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Sand in the 29th minute of play forced Samurai Champions FC's goalkeeper Márcio de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilson Peres having to make a save. In the 31st minute Peter Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Márcio de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Sand in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Evelio Rico managed to get in a good position for a shot. ITAFUT 4EVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Evelio Rico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Márcio de Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Márcio de Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Vítor Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Santos in the 43rd minute of play forced ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Nilson Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilson Peres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Sidney Bertassi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Márcio de Brito made a huge save. Alfredo Di Cintio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th match minute, Samurai Champions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Recife to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidney Bertassi got free with Márcio de Brito in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute Jardel Baggio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márcio de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ITAFUT 4EVER walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
