The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dino Ribeiro during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ceará's Dino Ribeiro got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute Júnior Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juarês Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 minutes, Juninho Catarinense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leonor Futebol Clube and the Ceará players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Leonor Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Juninho Catarinense hit a great ball. Juarês Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa de Lima in the 9th minute of play. Juarês Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafa de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Leonor Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Claudinho Pena hit a great ball. Juarês Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafa de Lima in the 13th minute of the match. Juarês Koehler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Júnior Sampaio went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tiago Negri struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Juarês Koehler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leonor Futebol Clube. In the 26th minute, Rafa de Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Júnior Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juarês Koehler having to interfere. Ceará's Juarês Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júnior Sampaio in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafa de Lima in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juarês Koehler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juarês Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Sampaio in the 35th minute of the match. If Tiago Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juarês Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafa de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafa de Lima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa de Lima in the 54th minute of play forced Ceará's goalkeeper Juarês Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Rafa de Lima fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With his leg Juarês Koehler managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Leonor Futebol Clube's Rafa de Lima fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Leonor Futebol Clube booed when Ceará was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Guga Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago Negri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Lucas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Juarês Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafa de Lima in the 73rd minute of the match. Giovanni Barbosa's late challenge caught a Ceará's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovanni Barbosa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ceará booed when Leonor Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Aloísio Ribeiro came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Ceará fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aloísio Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. After 79 played minutes Leonor Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Cido Miranda. Juarês Koehler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiago Negri in the 84th minute. When Leonor Futebol Clube's Rafa de Lima in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ceará's goalie prevented a goal. Juarês Koehler made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Rafa de Lima sent off a good shot on target. Rafa de Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Juarês Koehler made a huge save. With his leg Juarês Koehler managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Leonor Futebol Clube's Rafa de Lima fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
