With a little luck, GRÊMIO's Frank Tepedino got control of the ball when Lech Banan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arti Lerø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Frank Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lech Banan in the 25th minute of the match. Duda Velloso hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When Ronaldo Fenomeno came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the GRÊMIO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo Fenomeno couldn't finish the play. Vágner da Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vágner da Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes AC Augustville got a freekick which was hit by Vágner da Silveira. AC Augustville's Genílson Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 魏宽银 in the 35th minute of play. Genílson Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arti Lerø, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Arti Lerø kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. GRÊMIO's Frank Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lech Banan in the 46th minute of play. After 49 minutes AC Augustville's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 魏宽银 who took care of the corner kick. The corner led GRÊMIO's 魏宽银 to fire away a dangerous shot which Genílson Sousa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lech Banan to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes GRÊMIO got a freekick which was hit by Bryant Tout. The supporters of GRÊMIO booed when AC Augustville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romário Del Piero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genílson Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Saravakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, GRÊMIO's goal looked a bit too open when Lech Banan came free, but Frank Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dimitris Saravakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AC Augustville made a substitution. Mateus Saraiva replaced Lech Banan. Mateus Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Frank Tepedino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AC Augustville's João Francisco do Nascimento was substituted for Duda Velloso. GRÊMIO were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after AC Augustville's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 魏宽银 took the corner. In the 88th minute Emílio Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genílson Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Bryant Tout in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AC Augustville's Poltak Pařil. 90 minutes into the game, 魏宽银 lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Genílson Sousa. The audience was convinced that Mateus Saraiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frank Tepedino was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as GRÊMIO's Dimitris Saravakos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Genílson Sousa. That made the score 0-3 after 99 minutes of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched GRÊMIO eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
