In the 9th match minute, Bonita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Lino to maneuver through the defense. Leonor Futebol Clube's Claudinho Pena pulled a muscle in his back after 11 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 11 minutes into the game, Adilson Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Claudinei Koehler replaced Claudinho Pena. After a rather tough play, Bonita's Adilson Melo got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Rafa de Lima came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Leonor Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafa de Lima couldn't finish the play. Léo Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 32nd minute, Tiago Negri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leonor Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 34 played minutes Bonita got a freekick which was hit by Alan Saldanha. Léo Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafa de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonor Futebol Clube's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cezary Walaszkiewicz 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. 40 minutes into the match, Cezary Walaszkiewicz notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Leonor Futebol Clube's Anselmo Lucas. Anselmo Lucas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafa de Lima to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Cavalcante in the 56th minute of play forced Leonor Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Anselmo Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Tiago Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute Cezary Walaszkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Cezary Walaszkiewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anselmo Lucas. Leonor Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cezary Walaszkiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Bonita's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 73 minutes, Cezary Walaszkiewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bonita and the Leonor Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bonita's Cezary Walaszkiewicz got a free kick in the 74th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Cezary Walaszkiewicz notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Leonor Futebol Clube's Anselmo Lucas. The Leonor Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anselmo Lucas should have stopped the shot. Rafa de Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rafa de Lima fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leonor Futebol Clube's protests and gave Rafa de Lima a yellow card for diving instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Leonor Futebol Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bonita.
