Haridades F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when João Carlos Vianna scored to the left of an out of position Ronaldinho Pernambucano, making the score, 8-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Moisés Dracena made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Robin Steckamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Wambalamba FC's Brian Finnman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roger Koehler's late challenge caught a Wambalamba FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldinho Pernambucano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robin Steckamp scored 12-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronaldinho Pernambucano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wambalamba FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
