In the 10th match minute, FIEL ALGUSTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlindo de Andrade to maneuver through the defense. After 15 minutes FIEL ALGUSTA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonas Cabral who took care of the corner kick. In the 19th minute Murillo Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frisco Gómez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arsenal MGK's Frisco Gómez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal MGK from getting a goal against them. Frisco Gómez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murillo Pernambucano's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute of the match FIEL ALGUSTA got a corner. Arsenal MGK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ludomir Figlewski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Ludomir Figlewski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arsenal MGK's Frisco Gómez did a great save. FIEL ALGUSTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murillo Pernambucano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rubens Rocha hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Jonas Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stig-Arne Engström was the one to do the kick off. Frisco Gómez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murillo Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Arsenal MGK's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Cabral came free, but Frisco Gómez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Stig-Arne Engström sped through FIEL ALGUSTA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raúl da Silveira.
