Murillo Pernambucano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Dorian Machado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Murillo Pernambucano came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the FIEL ALGUSTA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murillo Pernambucano couldn't finish the play. Precioso Barcaiztegui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Raúl da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Locomotiva grena's Dorian Machado got control of the ball when Murillo Pernambucano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raúl da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Precioso Barcaiztegui in the 20th minute of the match. Ludomir Figlewski struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Dorian Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FIEL ALGUSTA. Dorian Machado was a little too slow when Murillo Pernambucano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murillo Pernambucano got free with Dorian Machado in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Precioso Barcaiztegui in the 37th minute of play forced FIEL ALGUSTA's goalkeeper Raúl da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, FIEL ALGUSTA's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Leme came free, but Raúl da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Chiquinho Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 50th match minute, FIEL ALGUSTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Torres to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Locomotiva grena booed when FIEL ALGUSTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jürgen Ligier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Locomotiva grena's Tomas Lewandowski was substituted for Sixten Vallengren. A sloppy throw-in by Chiquinho Martins in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FIEL ALGUSTA's Ruben Corderro. In the 58thth minute of the game Murillo Pernambucano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Locomotiva grena's Dorian Machado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute Eduardo Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorian Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raúl da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Precioso Barcaiztegui, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Murillo Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot. FIEL ALGUSTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Murillo Pernambucano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorian Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute, Juvenal Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moisés Torres hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Tomas Lewandowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Raúl da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murillo Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Machado having to interfere. Raúl da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Lewandowski in the 79th minute of play. Precioso Barcaiztegui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Locomotiva grena's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tiaguinho Eger in the 88th minute. The corner led Locomotiva grena's Tiaguinho Eger to fire away a dangerous shot which Raúl da Silveira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Locomotiva grena's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
