The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roger Couto during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Mota 2017 got a freekick which was hit by Roger Couto. A collision led to Hogwarts getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Jonas Öman hit a great ball. Roger Couto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustavo Boldrini having to make a save. Eliseu Senna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustavo Boldrini having to make a save. Roger Couto might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Boldrini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roger Couto ran back to his position shaking his head. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mota 2017 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Mota 2017's attentive Wictor Biörkquist managed to snatch the ball when Tibor Seno made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 34th minute Eliseu Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Boldrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led to Mota 2017's Nilmar Martins getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Torgeir Phan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Lira in the 39th minute of the match. Eliseu Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Boldrini having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Eliseu Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mota 2017's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseu Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Boldrini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliseu Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gustavo Boldrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Eliseu Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliseu Senna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eliseu Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gustavo Boldrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hogwarts's Tibor Seno quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tomé Corrêa, made in the 61st minute of the game. Hogwarts's Gustavo Boldrini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Hogwarts from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute, Mota 2017's Eliseu Senna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Mota 2017's Torgeir Phan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Lira in the 65th minute of play. Gustavo Boldrini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseu Senna in the 72nd minute. Tomé Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Torgeir Phan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Lira in the 79th minute of the match. Gustavo Boldrini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseu Senna in the 82nd minute. Gustavo Boldrini made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Eliseu Senna sent off a good shot on target. Hogwarts's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Eliseu Senna scored to the left of an out of position Gustavo Boldrini, making the score, 2-2. Eliseu Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 played minutes Mota 2017 got a freekick which was hit by Wictor Biörkquist. Tomé Corrêa hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute, Henrique Lira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hogwarts fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hogwarts had won after a very even match.
