After taking down the ball on Hogwarts's corner Cipriano Jacinto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Torgeir Phan quite easily take care of the ball. Gustavo Boldrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romário de Lara in the 9th minute of play. Mota 2017's Nilmar Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Hogwarts getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Sverre Svingen hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Henrique Lira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torgeir Phan was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Léo Lopes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gustavo Boldrini. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Roger Couto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustavo Boldrini was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nilmar Martins showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. If Roger Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roger Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Romário de Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Boldrini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrique Lira was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Roger Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Boldrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hogwarts's Silvinho da Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustavo Boldrini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Gustavo Boldrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedé Cardoso in the 67th minute of the match. Hogwarts's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nilmar Martins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mota 2017 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hogwarts had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
