Roger Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedykt Jaruzelski having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Twin Win Club's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Couto came free, but Benedykt Jaruzelski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedykt Jaruzelski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Ahmet Bedri Pekinturk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torgeir Phan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roger Couto got free with Benedykt Jaruzelski in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Twin Win Club's Décio Pernambucano got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roger Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Romário de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ahmet Bedri Pekinturk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. Torgeir Phan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Roger Couto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benedykt Jaruzelski. That made the score 1-0 in the 47 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Torgeir Phan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval Esteves in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Léo Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mota 2017's supporters rose to their feet, but Léo Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedykt Jaruzelski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, Roger Couto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedykt Jaruzelski. Twin Win Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roger Couto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Twin Win Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
