The corner went over the outstretched arms of Twin Win Club's goalie and right to Lúcio Sá. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Twin Win Club's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 30thth minute of the game Ahmet Bedri Pekinturk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curiphila Eagles's Kjell Sjöö was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lúcio Sá in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedykt Jaruzelski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benedykt Jaruzelski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Vihonský, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Durval Esteves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kjell Sjöö having to make a save. 46 minutes into the match, Twin Win Club's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Sá came free, but Benedykt Jaruzelski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Bedri Pekinturk to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Douglas Gerber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curiphila Eagles and the Twin Win Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Twin Win Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Esteves to maneuver through the defense. Curiphila Eagles's Waldir de Amaral was substituted for Cristian Vides. The supporters of Curiphila Eagles booed when Twin Win Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durval Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Curiphila Eagles's Kjell Sjöö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Esteves in the 81st minute of play. But to his dismay, Durval Esteves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Durval Esteves hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
