Davi Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Alexandre Velasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Davi Valadares made a huge save. Davi Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Araújo in the 9th minute of the match. If Charles Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Delfim Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Inter de Melão's Falcão Dias got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Davi Valadares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandre Velasco's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute, Delfim Paraense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Figueiredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 35 minutes into the match, Inter de Melão's goal looked a bit too open when Vânderson Almeida came free, but Davi Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vânderson Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Davi Valadares made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Delfim Paraense put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Alex Figueiredo. Davi Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Araújo in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Nascimento in the 45th minute of play forced Anjos's goalkeeper Alex Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Inter de Melão's Delfim Paraense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Figueiredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The Anjos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Inter de Melão were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delfim Paraense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Inter de Melão's Fabinho Valladares got a free kick in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Velasco in the 68th minute of play forced Inter de Melão's goalkeeper Davi Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fabinho Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anjos's Luiz Fábio Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anjos's Alex Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Paraense in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to Inter de Melão getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Maurinho Vergílio hit a great ball. After 90 minutes, Luiz Fábio Oliveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anjos and the Inter de Melão players grew even worse after the yellow card. Inter de Melão's Luiz Fabiano Novaes was substituted for Dráuzio Mesquita. Luiz Fábio Oliveira hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute Delfim Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inter de Melão were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Anjos's much stronger midfield.
