Portuguesa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conrado Pernambucano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Tadeu Cosme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorginho Vaz was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Gilvan Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 任浩默, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Portuguesa's 任浩默 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Portuguesa were victorious despite being under pressure from Green Squad FC for much of the match.
