Jorginho Vaz came out of the goal and Raigo Vananurm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Raigo Vananurm came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Scarlet Speedster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raigo Vananurm couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Fausto Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Jorginho Vaz. Portuguesa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 29th minute Holger Zachrisson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Jorginho Vaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scarlet Speedster. In the 34th minute Fausto Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorginho Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Mendonça in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorginho Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portuguesa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Krzynowek was slow to take the kick. During this time Scarlet Speedster's players had a chance to rest. In the 41st minute of the match Scarlet Speedster got a corner. Portuguesa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Krzynowek ran over to the corner to take the kick. Naldo Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Holger Zachrisson in the 43rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Mendonça in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorginho Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Holger Zachrisson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Naldo Proença made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Mendonça got free with Jorginho Vaz in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fausto Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Jorginho Vaz made a huge save. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portuguesa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Krzynowek was slow to take the kick. During this time Scarlet Speedster's players had a chance to rest. 63 minutes into the match, 任浩默 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Naldo Proença. Scarlet Speedster's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 任浩默 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Thanks to some nice moves Fausto Mendonça could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Jorginho Vaz however easily saved by the left post. Naldo Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 任浩默, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorginho Vaz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Portuguesa's Jorginho Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Mendonça in the 84th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Mendonça in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorginho Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Scarlet Speedster's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
