The long shot by Michael Åkerström in the 11th minute really tested Kiko Matorin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gabriel Vinhas scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kiko Matorin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 18 minutes, Ezequiel Moreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the São Cristóvão F.C and the Relyn Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, São Cristóvão F.C's Ezequiel Moreira got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute Relyn Futebol Clube were awarded a corner. Gabriel Vinhas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Relyn Futebol Clube's Michael Åkerström to fire away a dangerous shot which Kiko Matorin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gabriel Vinhas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kiko Matorin came out and tried to block the shot, but Gabriel Vinhas slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. São Cristóvão F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Gabriel Vinhas scored to the left of an out of position Kiko Matorin, making the score, 3-0. São Cristóvão F.C's Kiko Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Vinhas in the 30th minute of play. Gabriel Vinhass short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Kiko Matorin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 57thth minute of the game Gabriel Vinhas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but São Cristóvão F.C's Kiko Matorin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raimundo Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Gabriel Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Vinhas might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kiko Matorin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. São Cristóvão F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Vinhas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. If Gabriel Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
