Picles de Pepino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aírton Sabóia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Picles de Pepino's Dalmo Xavier managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luís Barros in the 16 minute of the game. Luís Barros made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Picles de Pepino's Zé Goiano. David Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Goiano in the 21st minute of the match. If Zafran Lim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th minute, Zafran Lim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Melo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüsnü Toycan in the 48th minute of play forced Picles de Pepino's goalkeeper Acácio Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nildo Pombal made a kick off. Acácio Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüsnü Toycan in the 56th minute of play. The throw-in from Fabinho Palmeira in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Picles de Pepino's Zé Goiano. With an all-out effort, Picles de Pepino's David Melo threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dalmo Xavier, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. David Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Kaiser in the 62nd minute of play. Lounès Bensaoula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Melo having to interfere. Christian Kaiser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, TruviaN 1896's goalkeeper David Melo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lounès Bensaoula. The crowd rose to their feet as Picles de Pepino's Zé Goiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Melo. That made the score 1-2 after 73 minutes of play. When Zé Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Picles de Pepino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Goiano couldn't finish the play. TruviaN 1896's Luís Eduardo Melo was substituted for Aníbal de Moraes. Acácio Falcão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nildo Pombal's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Lounès Bensaoula kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The throw-in from Luís Barros in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Picles de Pepino's Zé Goiano. David Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Christian Kaiser blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Melo having to make a save.
