The TruviaN 1896 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Melo should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute, Vidas Lokas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Melo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 14 minutes into the match, Vidas Lokas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Melo. TruviaN 1896's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vidas Lokas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 18 played minutes TruviaN 1896 got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Sabóia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Hugo in the 20th minute of play forced TruviaN 1896's goalkeeper David Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes, Vidas Lokas made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. TruviaN 1896's David Melo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nildo Pombal in the 26th minute of play forced Carrossel Caipira's goalkeeper Han Xiao Ting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kang Yuan Liang in the 28th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Kang Yuan Liang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Melo. David Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tamás Szentesi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Vidas Lokas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carrossel Caipira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Kang Yuan Liang sped through TruviaN 1896's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David Melo. After a defensive mix-up in TruviaN 1896's zone, Kang Yuan Liang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Melo came out of the goal and Kang Yuan Liang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 56 played minutes TruviaN 1896 got a freekick which was hit by Pedrão Fonseca. In the 57th minute, TruviaN 1896's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tamás Szentesi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. David Melo came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Carrossel Caipira's Kang Yuan Liang. But to his dismay, Kang Yuan Liang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Kang Yuan Liang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Melo having to interfere. Kang Yuan Liang scored 0-10 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Melo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute, Carrossel Caipira's Kang Yuan Liang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Melo. David Melo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Vítor Hugo scored 0-12 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Melo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. TruviaN 1896's Luís Eduardo Melo was substituted for Aníbal de Moraes. Tamás Szentesi made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 83rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but David Melo would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. David Melo came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Carrossel Caipira's Vidas Lokas. But to his dismay, Vidas Lokas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. With a little luck, TruviaN 1896's David Melo got control of the ball when Vidas Lokas tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guo Yao Han, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidas Lokas in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Carrossel Caipira's Nikos Vourlis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Melo. David Melo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-14. In the 96th minute Tamás Szentesi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Carrossel Caipira could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than TruviaN 1896 throughout the match.
