After a rather tough play, MAZER SAF's Nelsinho Koehler got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aírton Sabóia during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, TruviaN 1896 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aírton Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nelsinho Koehler in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Melo saved TruviaN 1896 from getting behind. Thiago Motta scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Melo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. David Melo came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by MAZER SAF's Thiago Motta. But to his dismay, Thiago Motta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 22nd minute, Thiago Motta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MAZER SAF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. David Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Motta in the 25th minute of the match. Thiago Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Melo having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Rodrigo Garro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When MAZER SAF's Rodrigo Garro in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TruviaN 1896's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beraldo Soberano in the 35th minute of play forced TruviaN 1896's goalkeeper David Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Nelsinho Koehler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 37 played minutes TruviaN 1896 got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Sabóia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelsinho Koehler in the 39th minute of play forced TruviaN 1896's goalkeeper David Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nildo Pombal made a kick off. MAZER SAF's Leonel Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, TruviaN 1896's goalkeeper David Melo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beraldo Soberano. David Melo was a little too slow when Nelsinho Koehler got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-5. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Rodrigo Garro sped through TruviaN 1896's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David Melo. David Melo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nelsinho Koehler in the 71st minute. After 73 played minutes TruviaN 1896 got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Sabóia. With an all-out effort, MAZER SAF's David Melo threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dudu Berger, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Nelsinho Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TruviaN 1896 made a substitution. Luís Eduardo Melo replaced Aníbal de Moraes. 87 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Garro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of David Melo. Rodrigo Garro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. MAZER SAF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
