Kiko Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aírton Sabóia in the 37th minute of the match. Kiko Matorin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nildo Pombal's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. TruviaN 1896's Hüsnü Toycan got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Aírton Sabóia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ezequiel Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Kiko Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Pombal in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felippe Baptista made a kick off. São Cristóvão F.C's attentive Samuel Urbano managed to snatch the ball when Luís Barros made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Nildo Pombal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kiko Matorin came out and tried to block the shot, but Nildo Pombal slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 53rd minute. In the 56th match minute, TruviaN 1896 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Samuel Urbano hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes of play, São Cristóvão F.C's Dé Freitas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Melo was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Pimenta in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Melo saved TruviaN 1896 from getting behind. Kiko Matorin was a little too slow when Pedrão Fonseca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 2-2. 89 minutes into the match, TruviaN 1896's goal looked a bit too open when Felippe Baptista came free, but David Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nildo Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Matorin having to interfere. After 93 played minutes São Cristóvão F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Moreira. São Cristóvão F.C succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though TruviaN 1896 had controlled the match.
