Superação were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Templários MZC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andrézinho Mota took the corner. When Templários MZC's Noel Furlan in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Laze Gjoka made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Andrézinho Mota sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrézinho Mota got free with Laze Gjoka in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 32 minutes, Noel Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Templários MZC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Furlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 35 minutes of play, Templários MZC's Noel Furlan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fellipe Meira was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Superação getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Zé Roberto Fonseca hit a great ball. Felipe Meira hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrézinho Mota stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
